Winning streak continues for Watts at Croft
Woolwich-based motorcycle racer Gavin Watts came away with a brace of wins in his first visit to Croft, Darlington for round four of the No Limits Racing championships.
Riding for the Official British Army Motorcycle Endurance Team on his 1000cc Yamaha R1, the rookie racer learnt the technical track quickly despite being hindered by high wind and a bumpy track.
Watts and his two team-mates each completed 60 minutes as they finished first in the Newcomers 1000 class.

Watts suffered from clutch slip in the second race. It cost him time but he was leading before he crashed out on the last corner of the penultimate lap.
A destroyed rear tyre saw Watts struggling for grip but an incident halted the next race as he salvaged second overall and first in class.
With new rubber in for the final race, Watts battled hard with fellow newcomer Craig Havlock, hanging on to beat the Suzuki GSXR1000 mounted rider by 0.322 second to claim another second overall and first in class.
