Abdul Abdulmalik is reportedly fighting to land a contract at Southampton after impressing for Saints B during a pre-season friendly.
The 18-year-old’s contract at Millwall expired on July 1 but the South London club are still due compensation if he moves on.
The Lions have offered Abdulmalik a new contract but he is yet to accept the fresh terms.

The website adds that Abdulmalik could feature once again for the club tonight as they take on Southern Premier South side Salisbury FC.
Abdulmalik has recently been on trial with Portsmouth and Watford but has failed to land a permanent contract with either.
