Millwall linked with swoop for Wolves defender

Millwall have reportedly joined the race to sign Wolves defender Dion Sanderson on loan for the rest of the season.

Sanderson has just been recalled from Birmingham City after making 15 appearances for the Blues.

The 22-year-old has never made a first-team appearance for Wolves.

Football Insider are reporting that the Lions and Blackpool have joined a few other clubs in trying to land the Englishman.

The website adds that Queens Park Rangers, Bristol City and Birmingham are also part of the pack chasing his signature.

Sanderson made 26 appearances and scored one goal during his temporary spell at Sunderland last season.
