Have Dons finished their transfer business? Mark Robinson provides the answer
Mark Robinson ruled out any further transfer business for AFC Wimbledon following Tuesday night’s 0-0 draw with Portsmouth.
The Dons have already confirmed the loan arrivals of striker Terry Ablade and winger Tomas Kalinauskas this month.
But Robinson was adamant that any other new arrivals were unlikely to arrive in SW19 – unless the Dons were to ship a player out.
Both Anthony Hartigan and Ollie Palmer have been linked with moves away this month, with the Dons reportedly knocking back a six-figure bid for Palmer from National League side Wrexham.
“We’ve done our business for January,” said Robinson. “Every manager asks me if we’re going to be busy in January, but we haven’t got that. We are what we are.

“We’ve bolstered the squad. We haven’t bolstered it with experience because we haven’t got the finances to do that, unlike other clubs.
“We’ve brought in some more youngsters with potential, you saw Terry tonight, we’ve got another one in Tomas and we’ve got others who haven’t played like Ethan Chislett, who is a talented lad.
“The only way it could happen would be if we let a player go. We haven’t got the money so it would only be a case of if one went out then, possibly, we’d bring one in.
“I hope that doesn’t happen though because I feel like we’ve got a really good squad and we’re going to kick on.”
