Girl, 17, molested on a bus

Police have released an image of a man they’re trying to trace after a 17-year-old girl was subjected to persistent physical advances on a bus in South London.

The victim was sitting on the top deck of a route 122 service between Wearside Road and Lewisham fire station when a man is alleged to have repeatedly approached her and tried to hug and kiss her.

The victim pushed the man away and he then left the bus. She told her mother and police were alerted.

The incident happened at around 12.20pm on Tuesday, August 2.

Officers have released an image of a man they want to speak to.

Anyone who recognises him should call 101 or tweet @MetCC ref CAD 3829/2 August.
