Man in critical condition after serious collision with two cars
A man has been hospitalised and left in a critical condition following a serious collision with two cars.
Emergency services were called to Garratt Lane, near Garratt Terrace, in Wandsworth at around 01.30am on Thursday to reports of a collision involving two cars and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a 29-year-old man, was taken to hospital where his condition is described as critical. The man’s family has been notified.
The drivers of the two cars identified themselves to police.
Two 18-year-old-men have been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, with one of them also arrested for drug driving.
Both were taken to a South London police station where they remain in custody.
A crime scene was established where the collision took place to allow emergency access, this has since been lifted.
Police are asking for anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage, or witnessed the collision, they should call the Serious Collision Investigation Unit witness line at Merton Traffic Garage on 020 8543 5157.
