Morata scores for Chelsea as they lead Burnley 1-0 at half-time at Turf Moor

Alvaro Morta put the Londoners a deserved 1-0 up at half-time with a smart taken clipped right-footer.
But the Spain striker should have had a hat-trick, missing two gilt-edged chances.
He was yellow-carded close to the half-time whistle for reacting badly to a strong but legal challenge by James Tarkowski. While that card was harsh, the one brandished by referee Craig Pawson to Willian seconds before the break was justified as the Brazilian, a thorn in the side of the Burnley defence fell over, in the penalty area to a non-challenge from Matthew Lawton.
