Man killed in Croydon collision pictured as police appeal for witnesses
Police have released a picture of a man who was killed in a collision in Croydon last week.
Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at around 7.35pm last Tuesday to reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Brighton Road, South Croydon.
The male pedestrian, identified as Christopher Searle-Dighton, aged 34, was taken to a South London hospital. Despite the efforts of medics, he died at hospital on Friday, January 7.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and has not been arrested.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses to the fatal collision.
