Woman driver dies in Sidcup crash

A 33-year-old woman has died following a collision between two cars in Sidcup.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information.

Officers were called at around 7.15pm on Monday to Blackfen Road, with London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade also attending the scene.

Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, the woman, who was a driver of one of the cars, driver of one of the cars, died at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.

The second driver stopped at the scene and is assisting officers with their enquiries – they were not seriously injured.

No arrests have been made.

Road closures were put in place while the scene was dealt with.
