Dons complete signing of released Sutton United forward
AFC Wimbledon have signed forward Omar Bugiel after he was released by Sutton United.
The 29-year-old has signed a one-year deal at Plough Lane.
Bugiel has also had spells at Forest Green and Bromley during his career.
The Berlin-born striker scored 22 goals and picked up nine assists in 152 appearances for Sutton before he was released at the end of last season.
Dons boss Johnnie Jackson said: “I’m absolutely buzzing to have signed Omar. He gives us a physical presence in the forward areas. He’s a target man that can also drop in as a number 10 when required.
“We saw first-hand last season how good he can be when he faced us. He was excellent and caused us a lot of problems. He’s going to complement the options we have really well – he’s robust and has played a lot of games to date.”

I wonder if Sutton offered him a new contract or let him go. Sutton seem to be losing/letting go a fair few players.
