For Pride Month Nazar is back bringing the party to the Southbank Centre
Not many events have combined the two great forces of Bollywood and Burlesque before now.
For Pride Month, the Southbank Centre is hosting a free, joyous queer party on the Riverside Terrace like nothing you will have ever seen.
Nazar is returning to the venue on July 1, to celebrate queer South Asian, Middle Eastern and SWANA diaspora.
This rave celebrates unity and empowerment with co-curators Ryan Lanji and Drew Demetry producing a programme of Bollywood sounds, Arab anthems as well as high energy club beats and live performances.
Leading burlesque performer, Deeva D, will bring their Pan Asian queer cabaret to the terrace with Bollywood artists Kaajel Pater and Vinay breaking away from gendered conformity in dance with bold self-expression.
Lanji, said: “It’s a moment to allow your queerness, culture and counterculture to exist loud and outdoors during Pride in London.”
Having first welcomed crowds to this Pride outdoor party at the Southbank Centre in 2022, Nazar is back bringing the party with it.
