Dulwich Hamlet picked up their first win of the Isthmian League Premier Division season after they beat Canvey Island 4-1 at Champion Hill on Tuesday evening.

Goals from Richard Pingling and Michael Chambers gave Hakan Hayrettin’s side a 2-0 lead, but Canvey pulled one back through Joe Paxman in the 50th minute.

Hamlet extended their lead 18 minutes later via Manny Parry and wrapped up all three points thanks to former Crystal Palace youngster Jerome Binnom-Williams with 16 minutes of normal time remaining.

Dulwich moved up to sixth in the table after collecting a point in their opening day 2-2 draw with Hashtag United.

Bromley picked up their first point of the National League season after a 1-1 home draw with Wealdstone on Tuesday.

Saul Kader rescued a point for the Ravens after Tahvon Campbell handed the visitors the lead in the fourth minute.

Bromley suffered defeats to Barnet and Halifax Town in their first two National League outings.

“The big plus for me was that I have seen my team not roll over,” said Ravens boss Andy Woodman. “We have that fire in our belly, which I’m chuffed about.

“We’re a work in progress. We’re going to add a few more players.”

Welling United are still searching for their first win under new boss Danny Bloor after falling to a late 2-1 defeat at home to Chelmsford City.

The Wings thought they had secured a point in the 83rd minute when Kain Adom cancelled out Charlie Ruff’s opener but Josh Castiglione scored in the ninth minute of stoppage time.

Welling are bottom of National League South.
