‘We’ve not won anything yet’ – Johnnie Jackson staying focused after League Two play-off semi-final success

Johnnie Jackson said his AFC Wimbledon side must strike a balance between celebration and focus after beating Notts County 1-0 to secure a place in the League Two play-off final at Wembley on May 26.
The Dons carried a 1-0 advantage into the match from a Riley Harbottle winner in the first leg. Josh Neufville lobbed the Magpies keeper Alex Bass to double their aggregate advantage and secure the victory.
The South Londoners will face a Walsall side who they are yet to beat this season. The Saddlers ran out 4-1 victors over Chesterfield on aggregate in their semi-final clash.
“We have not won anything yet,” said Jackson. “We put ourselves in a brilliant position, we have a great opportunity, but so do Walsall.
“Let’s make sure we enjoy it. I do not want the lads thinking about football tonight, they can go and have a bit of fun. But we will be back in on Monday or Tuesday, and we will be back to work.
“We got the balance right today.
“We will be doing the same things we have been doing over the past few weeks, and that is being diligent and preparing for the next one.”
