Charlton boss Lee Bowyer rules striker Lyle Taylor OUT of next weekend’s derby with Millwall

Lee Bowyer has ruled Charlton striker Lyle Taylor out of next week’s South London derby with Millwall at The Den – and is not expecting anyone else to emerge from the treatment room before the game either.
Taylor has been sat on the sidelines since suffering a knee injury while away on international duty with Monserrat in September. He had been able to remove his knee brace in the last few days but Bowyer says the talisman will not be available to make the short trip to Zampa Road.
“Lyle is not fit,” said Bowyer.
“We were hoping Lyle was going to be ready for this weekend but he had a little bit of a setback. He won’t be ready for Millwall.
“Getting other bodies back, I don’t think so. Most of them have been long-term ones – Jonny (Williams), Lyle, Sam (Field), Ben (Amos), Jake (Forster-Caskey). They are all long ones.”
