Teenager arrested in connection with murder of Louis Johnson, 16, at East Croydon railway station

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested this morning in connection with the murder of teenager Louis Johnson at East Croydon railway station.

Louis, also 16, was stabbed to death during Monday’s afternoon’s rush hour.

The boy, who is from Balham, was arrested on suspicion of murder and is in police custody while enquiries continue.

Louis, pictured above, was attacked on the bridge inside the station after entering the Ruskin Square ticket barrier at around 4.30pm.

Emergency services were called 15 minutes later but Louis was pronounced dead at the scene.
