These talented young musicians are some of the youngsters all hoping to be chosen as Bexley Young Musician of the Year 2020.
The Bexley Young Musician of the Year Awards is one of a series of projects for young people promoted by Rotary up and down the country.
This particular event is organised jointly by the four rotary clubs in Bexley, and culminates in a biennial awards concert.
The competition is open to all pupils who live or study within the borough.
The finals will take place at the Townley Theatre, Townley Road, Bexleyheath on Saturday, March 7 at 7pm.
Each of the finalists will receive certificates, souvenir photographs and a cheque for £100.
The overall winner will also receive The Bexley Young Musician of the Year cup, which will be held for two years, plus a replica cup which he or she will retain.
Sidcup Rotarian Maurice Tripp said: “I have been MC at this event since it was started.
“We always have a panel of distinguished judges and the standard of music is very high.
“It is good to know that we have so many talented young people in the borough of Bexley”.
Tickets, priced £10, or £5 for students, can be bought from Martin Evans, Rotary Club of Bexley, on 07443 039 893.
