Teenager stopped with £250,000 in cash in his car in Blackheath
A 19-year-old has been arrested and £250,000 in cash seized after police stopped a car in Blackheath.
On Wednesday, 13 May, officers from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command stopped a vehicle in Stratheden Road.
Officers searched the vehicle and found three bags containing about £250,000 in cash.
The man was arrested on suspicion of proceeds of crime offences.
He was taken to a South London police station and was subsequently released under investigation pending further enquiries.
The arrest was part of an investigation into the supply of class A drugs in London.
