The Dons travel to Valley Parade having lost their last four League Two games in a row, only scoring one goal in those outings.

The Dons brought Jaaskelainen in on an initial one-month contract after Nathan Broome suffered a foot injury in the 2-1 win against Aston Villa’s U21s.

The 19-year-old made his fourth appearance of the season, playing as a right-sided centre-back alongside Will Nightingale and Ryley Towler. 

The former Crystal Palace and Chelsea academy youngster has recorded five goal contributions in League Two – three goals and two assists – during his time so far at Plough Lane.

The Dons have now lost four in a row in League Two.

There was a 20-minute spell of optimism in the opening stages at Plough Lane, sparked by a change in formation which looked better suited to the players at Johnnie Jackson’s disposal.
