The Dons fell to their first defeat after three League One draws on the bounce thanks to two second-half goals from Ipswich winger Wes Burns.

“The recruitment panel are looking for a replacement as well, but we will work in different ways. We have lost one element of our game, but we will look at other elements where we can get that free-flowing goalscoring football back.”

The forward has scored 13 goals in 52 appearances for the South Londoners after he joined in 2020 following his release from Crawley Town.
