Teenage Erith motorcycle racer Casey O’Gorman is aiming to compete in the European Talent Cup (ETC) in 2021. The 13-year-old, a student at Thamesmead’s Harris Garrard Academy finished fifth in his rookie year in the British Talent Cup, held on the British Superbike bill, aboard his 250cc Honda NSF250R in 2020.

Casey O’Gorman’s hopes of winning the British Talent Cup ended in the dirt at Brands Hatch as he twice crashed out of podium positions last weekend. The Erith schoolboy couldn’t get the best out of his 250cc Honda in a wet qualifying, placing an unheard of seventh on the grid.

Tooting born Gino Rea finished the 2020 British Superbike Championship in strong fashion with three top ten finishes on the Brands Hatch GP circuit last weekend. 31 year old Rea, kept up his momentum from Donington in qualifying, putting his Buildbase Suzuki on the second row of the grid in sixth place.

Rookie Moto2 rider, Cameron Horsman, secured a dramatic first British GP2 Cup win at Donington Park at the weekend. The Lewisham rider started 20th on the grid (6th in class) on the combined GP2/Supersport grid at a rain soaked Donington Park. Despite the conditions, the Chassis Factory Nova Go Racing rider continually posted faster lap times than his GP2 rivals hauling them in one by one to take  victory in race one in the Moto2 category.

Erith motorcycle racer, Casey O’Gorman finished fourth and third in the wet at Donington Park last weekend to keep his title hopes in the British Talent Cup, alive.

Tooting born motorcycle racer, Gino Rea, finished 3rd in the final round of the FIM Endurance World Championships at Estoril in Portugal last weekend. The South Londoners Wojcik Racing Team qualified in 5th place for the event and after 12 gruelling hours of racing, managed to claim the final step of the podium, only three laps behind winners, YART – Yamaha.

The undulating, twisty, narrow Cheshire circuit of Oulton Park proved a real challenge for rookie Moto2 racer Cameron Horsman from Lewisham. The 19-year-old still came away with a 7th and 9th place finish in the British GP2 Cup, despite suffering arm pump.

Tooting born motorcycle racer, Gino Rea scored three solid point scoring rides last weekend in the British Superbike Championship at Oulton Park in Cheshire. Qualifying in 10th, just 0.625 of a second off pole, Rea looked in good form for the races. Lights out for Saturday’s race one and Rea makes the most of the start to hold his position whilst fending off the unwanted attentions of the BMW pairing of Luke Mossey and Peter Hickman to take 10th at the flag, less than half a second ahead of Mossey to pick up 6 valuable points.
