Woman and a man in 70s left hospitalised with serious injuries after ‘hit-and-run’ in Forest Hill

A woman and a man in his 70s have been left hospitalised with serious injuries after a vehicle collision in Forest Hill. Police were called to Dartmouth Road in the early hours of Sunday morning. At around 2am a dark coloured vehicle – make and model unknown – was travelling southbound when it was in collision with the two pedestrians, a woman in her 30s and a man in his 70s.

Man arrested after weapons, drugs, cash and a machete found in a car in Greenwich

A man in his 20s has been arrested after a large amount of weapons, drugs, cash and a machete were found in a car in Greenwich. At around 9pm on Monday, officers from the Violence Suppression Unit stopped the vehicle in Gilbourne Road. The driver and the vehicle were searched and a folding knife with a locking blade was recovered from the centre console and a baseball ball between the door and the seat.
