Hundreds of young people from deprived areas will get hands-on experience of nature conservation, boost their job prospects and help maintain green spaces. The Urban Ranger project will give 10 to 21-year-olds from Merton the chance to take part in activities such as creating wildlife habitats and community orchards, installing ponds and managing native woodlands.

Sadiq Khan today revealed plans to support more than 170,000 environmentally friendly “green jobs” if re-elected in May as he unveiled his campaign manifesto. Website creator that exposed Dulwich College ‘rape culture’ allegations warns of pornography dangers

Parents need to be aware of the dangers of online pornography and must teach their children about consent early, the creator of a website which has published thousands of allegations of sexual assault from students said today. Soma Sara, who set up Everyone’s Invited, said online pornography can have an “incredibly damaging impact on young minds” and adults cannot “pretend it doesn’t exist”.

Planned protests at a Dulwich private school have sparked national outrage after allegations of  ‘rape culture’ within the school were published on an online forum and in an open letter. Dulwich College has been accused of being a “breeding ground for sexual predators” in an open letter organised by a former schoolboy that contains more than 100 anonymous accounts of assault, harassment and sharing intimate photos online.
