School investigation finds no evidence of hate crime after five year old Sikh boy’s hair is cut in class

An internal investigation at an Abbey Wood primary school where a five year old Sikh boy’s hair was cut by another student has found there was “no evidence the incident was racially motivated.” The incident took place in a reception class on May 21 at Alexander McLeod Primary School.

The TfL Go travel app has been updated to provide real-time information on how busy Tube stations are, TfL has today confirmed. The mobile phone app, available on both Android and iOS, previously only provided passengers with information on bus, rail and Tube services such as timetables and alternative routes.

The founder of a schools trust has called on the government to change coronavirus guidance for schools before September as he warned roughly 3,000 children were off school and self-isolating.
