Charles Saumarez Smith, the former head of the Royal Academy, said he was dismayed by the Wellcome Trust’s plans for a site in Pelham Street, close to the Victorian South Kensington tube station.

The initiative involved Citizens UK and other community groups working with the three NHS mental health trusts and 12 boroughs to help prevent a mental health crisis and ensure local people and communities recover from the pandemic together.

Fraudsters who pretended they lived in Grenfell Tower claimed nearly £1m in hotel accommodation

Fraudsters who wrongly said they lived in Grenfell Tower claimed nearly £1m in hotel accommodation and housing after the fatal disaster. Police and council investigators uncovered £945,000 in fraud after the blaze which claimed the lives of 72. Recently investigators have  pursued another 12 cases of fraud over the last two years by people who falsely claimed they lived in Grenfell Tower.
