Hospitality Weekend In The Woods Drum’N’Bass festival at Beckenham Place Park

Drum’N’Bass has huge staying power.

Even as it drifts in and out of the charts and mainstream popularity, there will always be a hardcore of fans for whom it is the epitome of electronic music.

For them, just hearing the amen drum loop which forms the backbone of the sound, will induce flashbacks of clubbing adventures and all-night raves.

It is perhaps them who will be most intrigued by Hospitality Weekend In The Woods – a Drum’N’Bass festival in Beckenham Place Park next month.

There will be more than 100 of the most acclaimed names from the Drum’N’Bass world playing across the seven stages over two days.

Familiar names include DJ Hype, Camo & Krooked and Flava D. Scene veteran High Contrast will be performing a special set to celebrate 20 years in the game.

Stage hosts include Fabric’s legendary Friday night London party Fabriclive, as well as the critically acclaimed Calibre, and Hospitality themselves.

Undivide will bring heavier sounds and the Rupture label will be pushing its own brand of experimental, cutting edge production.

For novelty value alone, surely the most anticipated show will come from Fabio & Grooverider and The Outlook Orchestra, which will find the legendary DJs perform a set of DnB classics with the revered 40-piece orchestra.

Hospitality Weekend is billed as an escape from everyday life, with 98 acres of green and natural fields with lakes, woodland and a beautiful Palladian-style mansion.

Tasty South London street food will be available throughout.
