Take a break from the Christmas rush and grab a free gift on offer for the price of a pint

Beavertown Brewery is saving last-minute Londoners from a fate worse than Oxford Street this afternoon.

From 4pm until 8pm at The Flying Horse in Soho, the brewery is opening its doors to its very own Christmas Grotto – a haven for shoppers in need of a present and a pint.

The perfect solution for shoppers looking to escape the high street mayhem, but in desperate need of a Christmas gift for their friends or family – revellers need only head downstairs and buy a pint of Neck Oil IPA to access one of hundreds of free gifts on offer.

For the price of a pint, visitors can pick from an array of presents including Beavertown Christmas jumpers, glow-in-the-dark hoodies, beanies, T-shirts, glassware, scented candles, socks and lots more.

Taking over the cellar of the Flying Horse, shoppers can expect Christmas trees decked with beer can baubles, piles of skull-wrapped gift boxes, space-themed Christmas décor, and for football fans TV screens for those hoping to catch the third place play-off.

Tom Rainsford, marketing director at Beavertown, said: “Last minute present buying is hands down one of the worst parts of Christmas – but we’ve all been there.

“If you find yourself battling through the crazy crowds of Oxford Street today, come along to our Christmas Grotto and enjoy a refreshing pint and some respite from the manic festive shopping buzz. We’ll even throw a present in for good measure.”

Gifts are distributed on a first come, first served basis from 4-8PM at the Flying Horse on Oxford Street.

For those who can’t make it down, head over to Beavertown’s web shop to search the full range of beers and merchandise at https://beavertownbrewery.co.uk.
