Catch the last weekend of Europe’s largest art fair Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair

You might think a print fair is something for people who have a lot of money to spend on expensive art works.

Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair (WCPF) in Woolwich Works, in The Fireworks Factory, Arsenal, is showing just how exciting and inclusive these events can be.

There will be works from 500 of the very best contemporary print artists and leading galleries.

This is Europe’s largest art fair where you can expect to see prints from major names like think Tracey Emin, Grayson Perry and Paula Rego.

There will also be an exclusive original print debut from David Shrigley who’s deadpan, escapist pieces make up an enjoyable little world of their own.

The annual curated hanging of prints for the fair is made up of applications from an international artist open call, bringing together high quality, unexpected works as well as platforming independent and up and coming artists.

The works are individually and anonymously by a new panel of judges each year to keep every fair fresh.

The WCPF has said it is pushing to democratise the contemporary art landscape to make it an affordable space for budding art enthusiasts as well as a hotspot for seasoned collectors.

Catch the last weekend of the WCPF in Woolwich Works, in The Fireworks Factory, Arsenal on October 28 and 29.
