Its Fireworks time!

This week will see London’s skies light up for Bonfire Night festivities.

The capital boasts some of the nation’s biggest and best displays on offer, and this year they’re back with a bang.

Alexandra Palace Fireworks Festival

Ally Pally’s Fireworks Festival, the self proclaimed ‘Glastonbury of Fireworks’ is widely regarded as one of the most well-known displays in the country.

It goes above and beyond the traditional idea of Guy Fawkes, bonfires and fireworks, illuminating Alexandra Palace with a laser and light show.

This year’s music will see fashion icon Gok Wan on the decks, and Europe’s most successful Elvis Presley tribute act, Lee Memphis Lee, sing inside the German Bier Festival.

Other activities include a cinema, a fun fair, an ice skating rink, a fire show, and, of course, a bonfire.

Wimbledon Park and Modern Park Firework Displays

Merton borough is hosting two dazzling firework displays this year at Wimbledon Park on Friday, November 4 and Morden Park on Saturday, November 5.

Both venues will host two displays, one for children at 6.45pm with pop music, and one for adults at 8.30pm with a Kings and Queens music theme.

The venues will have a funfair open from 5.15pm and a street food village.

Battersea Park Fireworks

Battersea promises to deliver a spectacle of fireworks and bonfires, alongside warming food and drinks, with a separate family night on Sunday, November 6, featuring a 7m-tall light installation to celebrate the bonfire.

For adults on November 5, Evolution London will be hosting the Battersea Bierkeller Afterparty from 6pm until midnight for all ticket holders.

Expect German-style banquet tables, live acts and beer steins.

Chiswick Park Fireworks

The park is set to light up on November 3 with fireworks and its annual charity firewalk, in aid of Shooting Star Children’s Hospice Charity.

The firewalk is still open for entrants
