London Pride parade is back
London is packed with parades, parties and protests for Pride Month to mark the anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall riots.
The stream of celebrations all lead up to the big party, the London Pride parade.
This year’s London Pride parade will take place on Saturday July 1.
It will begin at Hyde Park Corner before winding its way down Piccadilly, then to Haymarket and Trafalgar Square, before finishing at Whitehall Place.
This year’s Pride theme is Never March Alone, offering a powerful gesture to oppressed LGBTQ+ communities around the world.
Pride in London is free and unticketed and if previous events are anything to go by, expect hundreds of floats and walking groups marching through the heart of London.
The day culminates in a huge party in Trafalgar Square.
