Smoosh! comes to the Southbank Centre on June 24
Dozens of Paraorchesta musicians, professional dancers and a kaleidoscope pop procession.
The internationally acclaimed music ensemble, Smoosh! is coming to the Southbank Centre on June 24.
Wind, brass instruments and drums meet with musicians playing a lively mix of well-known classics from the likes of Fatboy Slim, Kate Bush, Basement Jaxx and Adele.
Paraorchestra has gained a reputation for high quality musical performances that bring together professional disabled and non-disabled musicians, to produce and perform newly commissioned work as well as interpretations of classical and popular music.
A spokeswoman from Smoosh! said: “We’re delighted to be working with performers from the community in London, underpinning our commitment to build relationships in communities that are under-served for cultural activity.
“But whether you’re playing or watching, it’s going to be a glorious blast of musical fun.”
The Smoosh! the procession will set off from the Riverside Terrace at 3pm and 5pm.
