Wandsworth Arts Fringe are looking for artists for 2022
An arts festival in Wandsworth is looking for artists, venues, community groups and schools to get involved in their 2022 events.
Wandsworth Arts Fringe is back from June 10 to 26, 2022, and is awarding grants of up to £2,000 per project.
The festival prides itself on being a testing ground for bold, experimental work that is local and international.
Since 2009, WAF has brought together hundreds of artists in a boundary-pushing annual line-up of cutting-edge theatre and live art, comedy, experimental music concerts and art exhibitions.
Wandsworth council’s cabinet member for community services and open spaces, Councillor Steffi Sutters, said: “During the pandemic, our arts team have done a fantastic job ensuring WAF went ahead – as one of the first digital festivals in 2020 and then as a hybrid event in 2021.
“I can’t wait to see what’s in store for WAF 2022 and look forward to seeing art and performance at the heart of communities once again.”
Applications are open on the council’s website. To find out more visit wandsworthartsfringe.com
