Bargain hunters can expect to snag a deal at the opening of a new charity shop in Dulwich this weekend.
Focusing on premium fashion, St Christopher’s Hospice’s newest charity shop is located at the corner of Croxted Road and Park Hall Road, opposite Tesco Express in West Dulwich.
It’s the charity’s 24th shop across South London and swung open its doors for shoppers just before Christmas. It has already brought in more than £20,000 in its first six weeks of trading.
An official ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Saturday at 1pm, followed by a 25 per cent ‘discount power hour’ at all three Dulwich stores.
St Christopher’s chief executive Helen Simmons said: “As a resident of Dulwich, I know how strong the support for St Christopher’s is here and the shop has been so well received by our community in its first few weeks of trading.
“Over the past year we’ve seen strong growth in our shops, and generated more money from them than ever before in the last two years, which all goes towards our care for those at the end of life, as well as their loved ones.”
