Christian Aid car boot sale took place in Wimbledon Village – with over £1000 raised
A car boot sale to raise funds for Christian Aid was held at St. Mary’s Church field, Wimbledon Village, on Saturday, 10th May.
There were 40 stalls selling their household goods, toys, books, jewellery, ornaments, plants, garden tools and general bric-a-brac.
The event was organised by Michael and Sarah Canby, and Michael said: “A huge thank you to all sellers, buyers and volunteers who raised £1,500 for Christian Aid, while enjoying a happy and relaxed morning in the glorious May sunshine in St. Mary’s Church field, Wimbledon Village.”
