Croydon man charged with firearms offences

A man has been charged with firearms offences following the seizure of a self-loading pistol and ammunition at an address in Violet Lane, Croydon on Friday, 3 April.

Leon Roberts, 36, born 10 January 1984, of Croydon was charged on Friday, 3 April with firearms offences including possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and possession of ammunition with intent to endanger life.

Roberts appeared at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 4 April where he was remanded in custody to appear at Inner London Crown Court on Friday, 1 May.
