Fire tears through whole bungalow and destroys roof
A fire spread through a bungalow from the floor and across the roof early this morning.
Four fire engines and about 25 firefighters tackled the blaze at the property in St James Way in Sidcup at around 8am.
Part of the ground floor and the roof of the bungalow have been damaged by the fire. There have been no reports of any injuries.
The London Fire Brigade was called at around 8am and the fire was under control by around 9.30am.
Fire crews from Sidcup, Bexley, Eltham and Erith fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
