Lewisham police appeal for witness after two people suffered stab wounds
Police in Lewisham are appealing for information and witnesses after a fight resulted in two people suffering stab wounds.
Police were called to Bugsby Way, at 6.33pm on Saturday, amid reports of fighting – and found two men in their 20s with stab wounds.
The first was taken to hospital – and his condition, although initially serious, is now not life-threatening. He remains in hospital.
The second man’s condition was not life-threatening. Both were arrested on suspicion of affray. The second man is currently in custody at a South London police station.
Enquiries continue to trace the third suspect.
