Lewisham woman stabbed to death is named as man charged with murder

The Met have named a woman who was stabbed to death in Lewisham on Tuesday afternoon.

The woman has been identified as as 32-year-old Keisha Christodoulou.

Leon Murray, 33, of Tanner’s Hill in Lewisham, has been charged with murder and will appear in custody at Bromley Magistrates’ Court today.

Police were called to Tanner’s Hill at around 3.40pm on Tuesday after concerns were raised for the welfare of a woman at an address there.

Ms Christodoulou was found with stab wounds. Despite the efforts of the emergency services, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command.

The Met confirmed the victim and the defendant were known to each other.
