New M&S food hall open for business

Residents flocked to Streatham High Road as Marks & Spencer opened the doors of its new food hall on Wednesday.

Store manager Joy McCartney, and her 59-strong team welcomed their new customers into Streatham’s first M&S food hall, following a ribbon cut at 10am.

Ms McCartney said: “The team and I have been counting down the days to the big reveal and it was great to see such an impressive turn-out this morning.

“We are thrilled to become part of the Streatham community and we’re really looking forward to getting to know our customers in the coming weeks.”

Customers Manjit Ubhi and Preet Lote said: “We love M&S. It’s a privilege to have one open near us. We’ll be coming here regularly.”

The foodhall will also have a click and collect service.
