Detectives from the Metropolitan Police’s Specialist Crime Command South have launched a murder investigation following the deaths in Dorset Road, Stockwell yesterday.
Police were called just after 4pm amid concerns for the welfare of a man – but when they arrived with paramedics, they found two people inside the address with multiple stab injuries.
Despite the best efforts of officers and medics, a 44-year-old-man and a 56-year-old woman were later pronounced dead at the scene.
