Two men sought after two bottles of ‘strong’ acid left at railway station

Police are looking for two men after two bottles of acid were left a railway station.

British Transport Police (BTP) have released images of two men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

At around 4.30pm on May 23, staff at North Greenwich Tube station located a rucksack.

In it, two bottles of a “strong acidic substance” were found.

It is believed the substance had started to leak and had been abandoned by its owner.

Officers would like to speak to the men in these images, as it is believed they may have information which could help the investigation.
