Woman to appear in court today charged with murder of man in Croydon

A woman will appear in court today charged with murder after a man was stabbed to death in Croydon.

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) at shortly after 7.40am on Sunday to a residential address in Clyde Road to reports of a stabbing.

Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, a 29-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Charlotte Kerr, 35, of Clyde Road, Croydon was charged with murder on Monday.

She will appear at Croydon Magistrates’ Court today.

Next of kin have been informed and formal identification awaits.
