Andy Woodman not totally pleased despite Bromley’s 3-2 win at Aldershot

Andy Woodman was disappointed with Bromley’s performance despite their 3-2 victory at Aldershot Town.

Joe Kizzi (pictured) scored a dramatic injury-time winner to ensure the Ravens took the National League play-off race to the final day of the season.

Bromley manager Woodman told Bromley’s website: “We were poor today, I have to be honest, I can’t dress it up any other way. We didn’t look like we were at the races today. Aldershot were excellent, fair play to them. We were poor but we still managed to get a result.

“We have a team who doesn’t know when they are beaten. They have a bit of desire in them, so that was pleasing for me today.

“Mark Cousins has been excellent since I’ve been here, he saved us today. He was one of few players that can take any credit for today.

“One thing I am really pleased about, is the players who have been on the bench, have come on and affected the game. Our substitutes have been very good.

“It was lovely to see people enjoying a football match today. Having fans back is a big step forward for clubs of this size.

“I’m hoping we can get the result next week and give our fans something to smile about.”
