Barnsley v Charlton Athletic team news: Addicks unchanged from win over Stoke
Charlton name an unchanged line-up from the side that beat Stoke City last weekend as they take on Barnsley at Oakwell this afternoon.
The Addicks ran out 3-1 winners at The Valley seven days ago and boss Lee Bowyer will hope his side continue their perfect start to the Championship campaign and end the Tykes’ 28-game unbeaten home league run in the process this afternoon.
This means that Dillon Phillips will start between the sticks with a back-four of Ben Purrington, Jason Pearce, Tom Lockyer and Chris Solly, who was sent off in this fixture last season.
Chelsea loanee Conor Gallagher, who scored the Addicks’ third last weekend, will start in the midfield alongside Darren Pratley, Josh Cullen and Jonny Williams.
Jonathan Leko will link-up with striker Lyle Taylor.
Charlton: Phillips, Purrington, Pearce, Lockyer, Solly, Pratley, Cullen, Williams, Gallagher, Leko, Taylor. Subs: Amos, Oshilaja, Forster-Caskey, Aneke, Bonne, Sarr, Lapslie.
