Claims Crystal Palace are the subject of £220m takeover bid
Crystal Palace are reportedly the subject of a £220million takeover bid by a pioneer in hologram technology.
Reports claim current American co-owners Josh Harris and David Blitzer want to sell their stakes in the South London club, that they bought in 2015.
Now The Sun are reporting that American investor John Textor is leading a consortium that is attempting to take control of the Eagles.
The paper claims, although negotiations are at an advanced stage, there are doubts as to whether Textor is the right man to steer Palace into a new era.
Textor is not a billionaire like Harris and Blitzer, so will have needed some financial support from elsewhere to put together his Crystal Palace bid.
