Luton Town v Charlton Athletic team news: Two changes as Addicks strike-partnership broken up by injury

Charlton are dealt an injury blow as striker Karlan Grant is unable to start at Luton this afternoon – but Igor Vetokele and Tariqe Fosu both make their first league starts of the season.

Despite staying on to notch a winner, joint-top scorer Grant picked up a knock during last week’s clash with Plymouth Argyle at The Valley. He is fit enough to take a place amongst the substitutes.

Vetokele makes his first league start for the Addicks since May 2016, partnering Lyle Taylor up front.

Midfielder Jamie Ward has also sustained an injury, with Fosu returning from his three-game suspension for his red card at Southend to start.

Darren Pratley makes the bench after recovering from his hamstring injury.
