Millwall striker explains about strapping above and below his left knee in weekend draw against Luton

Millwall striker Tom Bradshaw has explained why he was wearing strapping above and below his left knee in Saturday’s 2-2 draw at Luton Town.

The Lions striker made his first start since returning from MCL damage and marked it with a superbly-taken strike in Bedfordshire

Bradshaw said: “Whenever I’ve had slightly longer joint injuries – it feels great, it feels fine – but I just like to have an extra layer of protection.

“For the first two or three weeks just to shore it up, purely precautionary.”

Bradshaw and Benik Afobe were both on target against Luton.

“There’s just a natural chemistry there and we get on really well off the pitch,” said Bradshaw. “We really enjoy playing with each other.

“We know where each other are going to be with runs and we’re quite similar where we both like to make runs in behind or come short.

“We complement each other really well. We’re both buzzing when the other one scores. It’s not always like that in strike partnerships, it’s certainly something I’m enjoying and I think Benik is too.“
