Palace target forced to train with Watford’s U23 squad

Crystal Palace target Will Hughes is training with Watford’s U23’s.

Hughes has made 107 appearances and scored seven goals since signing from Derby County in 2017.

Sky Sports are reporting that the 26-year-old is training away from the first-team and with the U23’s.

The report adds that Hughes has refused to sign a new contract with the Hornets.

Crystal Palace are reportedly interested in signing the midfielder as Patrick Vieira continues his summer overhaul.

Hughes is capped at England U17 and U21 level.
