Peterborough v Charlton Athletic team line-ups: Dean Holden confirms enforced changes with two set for spell in the treatment room
Dean Holden makes two enforced changes for today’s trip to Peterborough.
Summer signing Pan Camara will make his full league debut for Charlton, with Jack Payne also in to start alongside Alfie May up front.
The Addicks’ injury problems have worsened with Scott Fraser and Tyreece Campbell both set for spells in the treatment room.
Midfielder Fraser suffered a knock late on during last weekend’s 1-0 win over Leyton Orient at The Valley. Campbell was on the receiving end of a strong challenge during Tuesday’s EFL Cup defeat at Newport County and was seen leaving Rodney Parade in a protective boot.
Boss Dean Holden told Charlton TV: “Scott Fraser picked up an injury at the end of last weekend’s game.
“We’ve got a fair idea. Scotty is probably going to be longer than Tyreece. A number of weeks for that one, unfortunately. Tyreece maybe two to three weeks, will have to see how that recovers for the next week or so.
“Not ideal, two players who started season well but that’s what squad is for and we’ve got to get on with it.”
The duo will join Miles Leaburn, Manny Egbo, Richard Chin and Chuks Aneke on the side lines. Terry Taylor and Dialliang Jaiyesimi are also both missing from the matchday squad.
Charlton: Maynard-Brewer, Jones, Ness, Thomas, Dobson, Asiimwe, Anderson, Camara, Blackett-Taylor, May, Payne. Subs: Isted, Hector, Kirk, McGrandles, Edun, Mitchell, Kanu.
