Wycombe winger Fred Onyedinma hoping experience in their playing ranks gives them edge over Charlton

Wycombe Wanderers and ex-Millwall winger Fred Onyedinma hopes his side’s experience can be the difference heading into the second leg of their League One play-off tie against Charlton Athletic tomorrow night.
The Addicks drew 0-0 draw in the first leg at Adams Park  on Sunday.
The most eventful moment of the tie was a red card shout after Richard Kone planted his studs awkwardly on  defender Kayne Ramsay’s ankle. Kone was only booked..
Charlton will be seen as favourites heading into the Valley fixture.
But Onyedinma – who made more than 150 appearances for Millwall – insists his side have the quality to upset the odds.
“A few of the boys have had some good experiences in the play-offs,” he said. “I have played in the play-offs lots of times.
“I just try to give my experience on the pitch and off the pitch – try to help the boys.
“The thing with play-offs is you just have to come with the mentality that you are going to win, regardless of whether it is home or away.
“The Valley is a big stadium, but we will go over there and play our game.
“We know what kind of game it is, we will try to see it out with our quality.
“We just have to go in with the right mentality. It is the game that defines your season and the boys are more than ready for that.”
The winner of the contest will secure their place in the League One play-off final at Wembley against the winner of tonight’s second-leg decider between Stockport and Leyton Orient.
