Fenerbahce make loan offer for Fulham striker Mitrovic
Fulham striker Alexander Mitrovic is reportedly the subject of a loan offer from Fenerbahce.
Turkish media claim that the Istanbul-based club would insert an option to buy for £6.8million into the deal.
They also suggest that Mitrovic would see an increase in his salary to £2.6m a year.
Mitrovic scored just four goals in 31 appearances for the Whites last season – his lack of cutting edge certainly a factor in Scott Parker’s side struggling for goals.
Full-back Marlon Fossey, 22, has signed a new two-year contract keeping him in west London until the summer of 2023.
He spent the first half of the last campaign on loan at Shrewsbury Town.
Fulham have activated contract clauses for Maxime Le Marchand and Cyrus Christie. Keeper Marcus Bettinelli is still in negotiations over an extension.
The American defender said: I aim to work as hard as I can to better myself as a player.”
